Cancer does not discriminate.
Cancer doesn’t care if you are black, white, or yellow. Cancer doesn’t care if you are male, female, rich, poor, American, Asian, European, young or old. And, it most certainly doesn’t care about your dance affiliations, awards or celebrity.
Regardless of the defining factors that make us who we are, each of us is affected by cancer in some way, whether by our own life-threatening battle or that of someone we care about. With the support of the dance community, Dance for the Cure can have a powerful impact on the continuation of free programs and services for cancer patients, groundbreaking research, and the maintenance of cancer as a priority issue for elected officials.
